In Afghanistan, we did not experience an Islamist revolution in the same manner or format as the one that transpired in Iran. My understanding is that revolutions typically involve the participation of a significant portion of the population in overthrowing the ruling government. The Taliban takevoer in 2021 is not considered a revolution either.
