Lots of people feel, betrayed. They mostly feel they were lied to, and thing like women's rights, democracy and other liberal values that the West promoted in the last two decades did not mean much. I leave you below the translation of a comment by a friend under my Facebook post:

2001:

The Taliban are terrorists; we will attack Afghanistan, save the Afghan people, and establish democracy.

2021:

The Taliban, who are committing genocide against the Hazaras and killing dozens of people daily in Afghanistan, having already killed thousands of innocent humans, are not only not considered terrorists, but we are surrendering the government and people of Afghanistan to them, interacting with the Taliban, sending them $80 million a week, and will soon recognize them officially."
