Illustration from the book Mazeh-e dood.

He writes the last prescription for his last patient and discharges him. As the door closes, he lies back on his swivel chair. While leaning back in his chair, he rotates with the chair. He looks around his pharmacy and observes everything very closely. His working station is in the corner of the room. Next to that, in another corner of the room, a large brown shelf is being placed. It is full of blue envelopes that contain the necessary papers for work. Next to the shelf, a wooden hanger is placed. A coat and a red scarf are hung there.

A small window is faced toward the street. Several printed posters of human organs, especially hearts, are being nailed on the walls. On the other side of the room, a white bed is presented. A white curtain separates that section from the rest of the room and makes it veiled.

A brownish couch, with a table made of glass, filled the center of the floor. The most beautiful of all is the color of the walls. A color mix of brown and ivory make the room shine.

I scout Afghanistan media for stories about women that deserve wider attention. Whatever I earn on Medium, 50% will be donated to educating children in Afg.
