Why are dogs captive, but wolves are free?

Hundreds of people walk on the sidewalk of a busy street; among them, two individuals carrying two dogs make their way. As soon as the dogs see each other, instead of becoming happy and greeting each other with a “Hello, how are you? Are your parents well? Are the children fine? Does this cruel human who drags you around show you kindness? Does he provide enough food for you?” they attack each other, barking and biting. The two humans then appear as peace envoys, attempting to separate the dogs.

In contrast to dogs, wolves are kind to each other; they hunt together and share their food. Perhaps this is because dogs are captive to humans, while wolves are free.

I scout Afghanistan media for stories about women that deserve wider attention. Whatever I earn on Medium, 50% will be donated to educating children in Afg.
